The following songs are recommendations for a nuptial mass. This is not an exhaustive list. The cantor and/or accompanist will assist the couple with music selections.

Some songs are repeated because they can be used at various places in the liturgy.  All music selected for a wedding must be sacred music appropriate for mass, but it can be from any genre of music (traditional, classical, contemporary). Pop music is not allowed, even if it is instrumental.

Musicians should be selected from the list of approved St. Catherine of Siena cantors and accompanists. However, exceptions are made with the approval of the SCS Director of Music Ministry if the guest musician is experienced in playing for a Catholic wedding.  Email Lorraine Hess at [email protected] for approvals.
