In 2021, SCS traveled to LaPlace, Louisiana to St. Joan of Arc Parish. Over two days, parishioners cooked and served 2,500 hot lunches. A team of parishioners also helped gut 5 homes. Aside from serving meals and gutting homes, St. Catherine raised over $178,500 to help rebuild the homes of over 20 SCS teachers and staff that were severely damaged by Hurricane Ida.
In 2020, SCS sent six 18 wheeler trucks full of relief supplies and over $180,000 of financial assistance to Lake Charles in response to Hurricane Laura. SCS also sent several teams of parishioners to cook hot meals for 3,500 people.
In 2017, after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, St. Catherine of Siena collected six 18-wheeler trucks full of supplies that were delivered to Beaumont, TX and Houston, TX. SCS also collected over $95,000 which was donated to the Diocese of Beaumont.
In 2016, SCS delivered two 18-wheeler trucks full of supplies to St. Thomas More in Baton Rouge after severe flooding hit the area. During Katrina, St. Thomas More took in many SCS parishioners who evacuated to Baton Rouge. SCS helped STM in their time of need.
