The vocation committee is responsible for promoting vocations to the priesthood, religious life (sisters and brothers), and diaconate here at St. Catherine of Siena. The goal of the vocation committee is to create a culture of vocations in our parish in which all men and women consider a vocation to priesthood or religious life as a viable option and all parents encourage their children to be open to a vocation.
The vocation committee prays in a special way for parishioners who are currently in formation. To see the list of parishioenrs in formation, visit scschurch.com/vocations.

SCS Women's Club is open to all women of the parish and exists to promote the spiritual growth of its members, to provide members with service opportunities benefiting SCS parish, its ministries, and the greater community, and to promote fellowship and community among the women of the parish. Some of our spiritual opportunities include a Day of Reflection, a Consecration to Mary, and support of our collective hour of Adoration. Some of our volunteer activities include serving food to various organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Breakfasts at the Rebuild Center, dinners for Boys Town and Hotel Hope. We have also adopted Our Lady of Perpetual Help School which we help with donations, luncheons, and holiday gifts for the students to name a few. We also assist with the St. Catherine parish functions as needed. In addition to the 4 meetings held throughout the year, we have 2 or 3 social events including a Christmas party and Day at the Races to foster relationships between our members. Our motto “Opportunity not Obligation” defines the spirit of our group. For more information, contact Kim Navarre, ext. 1545.
