In August of 2024, St. Catherine of Siena welcomed the Nashville Dominican Sisters to teach in the school.  In order to prepare for their arrival, we built them a house / convent to live in on Codifer Blvd.    

In August of 2021, St. Catherine of Siena purchased the property at 315 Codifer Blvd. Thank you to Prieur Properties (Missy Martin) for generously handling the closing.  In August of 2023, the old house was demolished thanks to the generosity of Ovella Enterprises (John & Nicole Ovella) and Durr Construction (Dana Stumpf).


The new convent was designed thanks to the generosity of CIS Architects (Charles Silbernagel) & Elan Studio Design (Heather Somers).  The new house was constructed thanks to the generosity of Premier Construction (Jeff Long).  Click here to see a full list of the In-Kind Donations.


On Friday, October 20, 2023, a groundbreaking cermony and blessing of the property was hosted with all of the students on the site of the new convent.

Construction began in early December 2023 and was completed by the end of July 2024!
